Aamir is an associate with the firm and have ample experience in the field of family laws dealing specifically in matrimonial matters as of divorce, maintenance, separation, marriages and special marriages. Beside his core practice Aamir enjoys good relation with firm clients and is instrumental in materializing the related affairs. He is known for his PR skills and supervises firm’s corporate communication and corporate social responsibility wing and also leads the firm pro bono services

After graduating with a degree in law, Anis has accumulated varied experience in Banking and Financial, Civil, Criminal and Labor matters. He currently serves as the director of Bombay Mercantile Cooperative Bank. He also serves as a member of various committees in the aforementioned organization, including legal, recovery, loan etc. Before that, he was the empanel advocate for the same co-operative bank representing it in an assortment of matters.

Anis is an experienced legal practitioner who has held leadership positions right from the start of his academic career. He has held the position of Oath Commissioner in Delhi High Court, President of “National Student Union of India”(AMU), among many.

His leadership and oratory skills make him a competent lawyer. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts,District Courts across the country. He is a standing counsel for landmark organizations including the Haj Committee for India.

Mr. Nasir Comes from a non-legal background and has done his graduation in B.E (Mech), after completing his graduation has entered into industry practice where he has almost more than 20 years’ experiencein different profiles and varied verticals. He is an enthusiastic and a creative professional with excellent organizational and communication skills. Mr. Nasir has joined Diwan Advocates as an Consultant IPR, for handling the matters related to IPR, he has diversified Intellectual Property Exposure (IPR) exposure in India and abroad. Before Joining Diwan Advocates, Mr. Nasir was engaged in to a work of Projects and contracts management for various organizations where he worked, Nasir has also assisted employer in Middle-east in establishing an operating office with R&D facility in partnership with KFUPM (university) which involved resolution of various aspects related to IP rights of OEM (technology company) and the university.

He has immense experience in delivering IP services to the clients by taking following actions,discussing inventions and processing with inventors or manufacturers and ascertain whether they’re likely to succeed in being granted patents;analyses scientific or technical documents, including previously granted patents, to assess whether an invention is new and innovative;writing detailed descriptions of inventions in precise legal terms (patent drafts)suggest modifications or extensions to the definition of the invention;apply for patents from the concerned authority (patent office); prepare responses to reports from patent examiners;ensure application and renewal deadlines are met;work with solicitors and attorneys to defend or enforce patent; advise overseas attorneys on applications for foreign patent applications;instruct on whether business activities will infringe someone else’s patent rights;deal with assignments of patent when a patent is sold or transferred;advise on other intellectual property rights, e.g. designs or trade marks.

Asif Ashraf joined Diwan Advocates in the year 2016 as Manager of Administration. It is since then that he has been making most of his efforts to streamline the business of the firm. From managing the work schedule of the employees to the effective business management through clients, he has successfully managed to frame out a systematic framework for the functioning of the firm. During his tenure of service in the firm, he has also managed to complete his Bachelors in Law which has provided him with an edge towards efficient understanding of cases and his growing interest in Intellectual Property Laws also adds him as an asset to the firm for dealing with trademark and patent filing processes. Mr Asif has been effectively coordinating with the associates at Diwan Advocates and ensuring the portfolios are taken care of. He continues to earnestly steer the Diwan team in the right direction by keeping everything up-to-date.

Gaurav Saini is associated with Diwan Advocates as an Accountant. He manages and maintains financial data. His basic role includes accumulating, recording and analysing financial transactions. He maintains and looks after payroll expenditure of lawyers, payments received from clients, maintaining proper records of the expenses and revenues and offering right financial advice.

Suresh Nishad is a senior Legal clerk at Diwan Advocates. He provides office support, administrative duties and supervising junior clerks. He is organized and well-oriented. He manages all paperwork and electronic filing in the organization including indexing, coding and labelling. He also coordinates with the records department and maintain all client information and documents necessary to function in accordance with the procedure.

Bindu Das is an experienced advocate who graduated in Law from Mewar Law Institute, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad in 2007 who started her litigation journey from the Chambers of Former Hon’ble Justice Mr. Rajiv Sahai Endlaw (Retired) . She did her Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights in 2009 and also holds a degree of Masters in Law  in 2012 from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. She is a first-generation lawyer with exceptional analytical skills and having an eye for details. Before associating with Diwan Advocates, she has also worked with DMD Advocates and Khaitan and Khaitan.

Apart from regularly appearing in Delhi High Court, Supreme Court and Districts Courts of Delhi, she has been appearing and representing clients before the several High Courts in India, several District & Session Courts in India, various Tribunals and Authorities. She has advised clients from all areas including but not limited to civil, real estates, banking and finance, general corporate criminal and commercial, to name a few. Apartment from vast litigation experience she also has an experience of working with the legal team of various NBFCs like IIFL Home Finance Ltd. and Capri Global Capital Ltd.

Advocate Ruchi Gusain (Enrolment No. D/2630/2018) is a versatile legal professional with extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, with a particular specialization in intellectual property rights (IPR) laws, Insolvency laws and Civil Procedure. She graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Batch of 2018.
